Learn surfing in beautiful San Diego. We train year round and are hands down the most skilled and experienced in COACHING OTHERS. Most of our students come to us with no previous or very little surfing experience. In 8 years of coaching experience, we have helped hundreds of students become well rounded in surfing and ocean knowledge giving them the confidence to safely surf on their own.

Beginners - Intro to Surfing
LEVEL 1
Coaching held on the inside (whitewash)
Have you ever wanted to get into surfing but just have been too intimidated? Do you want to surf out the back with all the other surfers but your skills are not up to par yet?
This is the perfect coaching session for you. You can come multiple times and work on various skill sets to give you all the proper tools before reaching the lineup (outside area/green waves)

Coaching can be scheduled anywhere in South County. North County sessions can be scheduled at extra rate.
Recommended Skill Level
- None to very little surf experience
- None to very little paddling skills

LEVEL 2
Recommended Skill Level
- Basic wave etiquette knowledge
- Basic paddling skills
- Clean popup without using knee or one-two step
- Ability to ride 90% of inside/white wash/broken waves
If you still don’t have an efficient popup it’s recommended you take the Beginners-Intro to Surfing Session. Not having a clean popup will hinder your ability to drop in Open Face Waves
